Client Spotlight: Four Points Chamber of Commerce

I’ve been volunteering with the Chamber and have been a member since the very beginning in 2010 and have had a lot of fun with these local business owners. This year, I started volunteering on the Board of Directors and am starting to see how a Chamber of Commerce works from the inside. It has been interesting to see the Chamber of Commerce grow and watch their online needs grow with it.

Earlier this month, we launched a new website for the Four Points Chamber of Commerce that reflected their more focused requirements, including tighter integration with their existing chamber management software. Although it is an ongoing project, we are really pleased with the current results.

We used an existing template with some modifications and some custom post types to create areas for the Board of Director, Ambassador, and Committee biographies. This is also the first time I have had a chance to use a plugin for button creation (I’ll be talking about it soon).

This current version of the site has been in the planning and development stages for about 3 months and will take another couple of months to fully complete.
