This is a common problem with a simple solution. Here’s the easiest way to check for this problem and fix it: try it yourself.

I know that sounds simple, but I have had many conversations where a client will discuss putting a QR code or other mobile-suggestive media into their marketing strategy without trying to navigate their own website on a smart phone. Try filling out that form you are directing customers to fill out to enter your contests. Is it easy or do you want to smash your phone into little pieces?

If it’s frustrating for you, that is going to translate into lost sales.

The solution: Hire a developer to make your website mobile-friendly. Even if your website it not the picture of perfection on a phone or tablet, make sure it is navigable and easy to use. Just like your office, your website should be inviting and easy for potential customers to navigate.
